How Baby Trenz Designer Moses Baskets started.

Baby Trenz was established in 2007 and has come a long way since starting as a hobby in 2005. In 2005 my daughter had our first grandson and on trying to find a suitable first bed for him found there was not a lot of options in New Zealand, we were after something Natural, Portable, Breathable and Safe but at the same time wanted something with a bit of class. After searching far and wide decided that only a moses basket fitted all the requirements.

Why a Moses Basket, because a Moses Basket is natural, portable, breathable and safe, but could not find a quality Moses Basket in New Zealand anywhere, I ended up purchasing a second hand basket for him, and having experience in design set about making a set of linen for it. From there things just grew and everyone wanted one. I started making them for friends and family as a hobby and we found you can’t beat a basket for the perfect first bed and really they are one of the most useful items to make life with a newborn easier. So we set about finding a manufacturer to make a top quality basket to my specifications, as I am very particular about quality. Over time we have sourced some fantastic fabrics and we make an exclusive range of designer linen to finish the Moses Baskets.

We have come up with a fantastic ever changing range of exclusive natural and dressed Moses baskets in a variety of designs and styles to meet most budgets.
We are always looking for new quality natural fabrics and have just launched our new Organic waffle Moses basket range.
We also manufacture a great range of natural Moses Basket stands here in New Zealand using Natural sustainable pine.
Since having one grandchild in 2005 the numbers have grown quickly and now I am a proud mother of two and Nana to four and send Moses Baskets all over New Zealand and Australia.
